Jerry Don Coots

Jerry Don Coots, 75 of Cave City died Tuesday, September 26, 2017. He was born August 17, 1942 at Pangburn, Arkansas to Isaac J. and Tressie Barksdale Coots. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jack Coots and two sisters, Peggy Gould and Sandi Holder. Survivors include his wife, Nora Coots of the home; one son, John Coots of Benton; two daughters, Carla Wilson of Benton and Dianna Marshall of Russellville; three brothers, Dick Coots of Floral, Gary Coots and Ronnie Coots both of Batesville; one sister, Joan Hunter of Bryant; five grandchildren, Amanda Tipton, Rebecca Wilson, Lauren Sellers, Tiana Coots and Tara Coots; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, September 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Barry Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery near Floral. Visitation will be Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Barry Wilson, Tim Coots, Taylor Tipton, Ricky Gould, Geno Hunter and Scott Passmore. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association at LBDA.org.
