Edna Barnett

Edna Barnett, 97 of Batesville died Thursday, October 12, 2017. She was born March 26, 1920 at Bald Knob, Arkansas to James Henry and Francis (Newman) Sprouse. She was a homemaker and had attended Weaver’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Woodrow Barnett; a son, Billie Dean Barnett; brothers, Louis Sprouse, Sanders Sprouse, James Sprouse Jr., Raleigh Sprouse and Little Brother Sprouse; sisters, Maudie Phillips, Savanah Causler, Beatrice Sprouse and Ollie Mae Sprouse and grandson, Cody Matthew Barnett. Survivors include sons, Tommy W. Barnett of Conway, Edwin James Barnett (Debbie) of Hilliard, Ohio and Andy Carl Barnett (Norma) of Taylor, Michigan; daughter, Carolyn Ann Crow (Michael) of Seaside, Oregon; and a host of other relatives and friends. Private graveside services will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Weaver’s Chapel Cemetery located near Pfeiffer. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
