Anna Jean Bishop, 81 of Batesville died Thursday, October 12, 2017. She was born May 27, 1936 at Hardy, Arkansas to Lawrence and Dirtha Ferguson Hall. She was a homemaker and co-owner and bookkeeper for Bishop Home Construction. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Batesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Larry Bishop and two brothers, Loran Hall and Boyd Hall. Survivors include husband of 63 years, Tom Bishop of the home; one daughter, Kathy Milligan (Donald) of Cave City; one sister, Faye Arnn of Witchita, Kansas; one granddaughter, Megan Milligan Watson (Adam); two grandsons, Trint Milligan (Stephanie) and Dustin Bishop (Jesica); six great grandchildren, MacKenzie Milligan, Kadence Milligan, Aubree Milligan, Jace Watson, Ryan Bishop and Anna Watson; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, October 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God in Batesville with Chris Hancock officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens located at Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service. Visitation will be Monday, October 16, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Trint Milligan, Dustin Bishop, Adam Watson, Gary Arnn. Roger Treadway and Randell Treadway.
