Lillian Stroud, 90 of Evening Shade died Friday, October 20, 2017. She was born July 29, 1927 at Evening Shade, Arkansas to Earl and Maud Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church at Zion. She loved growing vegetables and flowers, helping others and going to church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.L. Stroud; one brother, Nelson Brown and three sisters, Fay Frazier, Lorene Soward and Velma Polk. Survivors include one sister, Norma Smith of Cave City; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Boyce Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Bear Creek Cemetery located at Evening Shade. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Gary Tackett, John Ables, Jim Shands, Clint Bailey, Tommy Tidwell and David Lee Tidwell. Honorary pallbearers are Aaron Holley, Chris Phillips and Brett Polk.
