Linda Rivers Sharp, 62 of Evening Shade died Friday, November 3, 2017. She was born April 9, 1955 in San Antonio, Texas to Henry and Marlene (Steel) Rivers. She was a retired school teacher having taught in West Memphis, Crawfordsville, Evening Shade and Cave City. She was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Survivors include her husband, Larry Sharp of Evening Shade; a daughter, Emma Miller of Olive Branch, Mississippi; a step son, John Sharp and a step-daughter, Rebecca Sharp both of Batesville; her parents, Henry and Marlene Rivers of Evening Shade; two sisters, Dianne Tharp and husband Jeff of Evening Shade and Julianna Smith of Bassfield, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Matthew Sipe, Samuel Sipe and Joanna Eversol; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Rev. Larry Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Bear Creek Cemetery located at Evening Shade. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be John Shands, Josh Shands, John Sharp, Brian Coderre and Jim Shands.
