Mary Mildred Barnett

Mary Mildred Barnett age 85 of Cave City died Saturday, November 4, 2017. She was born July 19, 1932 at Athens, Alabama to George Thomas and Ethel Beatrice (Casteel) Easley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cave City Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry W. Barnett; a daughter, Sandra Lynn Shackleford; three brothers, Joe Easley, Jack Easley and Buck Easley; and one sister, Dorothy Russell. Survivors include two sons, Steven Barnett (Tammy) of Byhalia, Mississippi and Jeff Barnett (Vickie) of Cave City; daughters, Janet Holt (Michael) of Zion, Tammy Collins (Terry) of Newnan, Georgia and Renee Rogers (Donnie) of Cave City; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, November 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Shane Foust officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, November 6, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
