Doran Louise Westbrook

Doran Louise Westbrook, 90 of Pleasant Plains died Tuesday, December 26, 2017. She was born August 12, 1927 at Flint, Michigan to William G. and Leona A. (Beaver) Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Blackland Free Will Baptist Church near Oil Trough. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mike Westbrook; daughter, Leona Westbrook; brother, Bill Johnson and sisters, Eula Von Miner, Mildred Maxfield and Regina Johnson. Survivors include daughters, Starlin Matlock and husband Charles of Sidney and Paula Jackson and husband, Andy of Cave City; 6 grandchildren, Michael Matlock, Chuck Matlock, Allison Hancock, Ashley Manning, Andrea Davis and Jennifer Tate; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Blackland Free Will Baptist Church near Oil Trough with Bro. Stanley Vandergrift officiating. Burial will follow in the McMullin Cemetery at Pleasant Plains. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Chuck Manning, Chuck Matlock, Ronnie Westbrook, Travis Tate, Michael Matlock and Wendell Westbrook. Honorary pallbearers are Frank Westbrook, Ricky Westbrook, Charles Matlock and Andy Jackson.
