Carson Wayne Melton, 21 of Cave City died Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born August 23, 1996 at Batesville, Arkansas to Terry and Kim Moore Melton. He was a farmer; a 2015 graduate of Cave City High School and of the Baptist faith. He loved fitness and Karate and had a Brown Belt in Karate. He also loved deer hunting, his cats, his family and playing video games with his brother. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Moore; great grandparents, Alvis and Clara Moore, Thomas and Tommie Jean Robinson, Raymond and Alma Melton and George and Rachel Sanders. Survivors include his parents and his brother, Caden Melton of the home; sister, Pasha Melton Bristow (Jason) of Saffell; grandparents, Betty Robinson Moore of Cave City and Delbert and Modine Melton of Saffell; nephews, Ayden, Ian and Emmett Bristow of Saffell; uncles, Kevin Moore (Brandy) of Cave City, Kendall Moore of Cave City and Howard Melton of Saffell; cousins, Kolton, Kolby, Launa and Brayden Moore, Ashley Creekmore (Andrew) and Hailey Stigall all of Cave City; and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Dennis Gay officiating. Burial will follow in the Milligan Campground Cemetery located near Strawberry. Visitation will be Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Shannon Milligan, Tarran Milligan, Cobie Robinson, Blaine Counts, Gary Ring and Jason Bristow. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Counts, Jamie Nunnally, Roger Tate, Kevin Moore, Kendall Moore, Howard Melton, Kolton Moore, Brayden Moore and the CCHS Class of 2015.
