Carolyn Bower

Carolyn Bower, 72 of Batesville died Monday, January 22, 2018. She was born March 6, 1945 at Batesville, Arkansas to Avner William and Norma Adrienne Martin McBride. She was retired from Arkansas Eastman in Batesville and was a member of the Swaims Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Sammy McBride and Sonny McBride and one sister, Norma Jane McBride. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Stanley Bower; three daughters, Cyndi Brazil of Rogers, Bobbi Boozer (Shannon) of Concord and Millie Knatcal (Danny) of Springfield, Missouri; two sisters, Elaine Tarpley of Maple Springs and Judy Ferrell of Bethesda; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville. A private burial will be in the Kyler Cemetery at Southside.
