Terry Wayne Melton, 50 of Cave City died Monday, January 22, 2018 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born October 31, 1967 at Batesville, Arkansas to Delbert and Modine Sanders Melton. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved his cows, his cats and spending time with family, especially with his wife, kids and grandkids. He was preceded in death by his son, Carson Wayne Melton and his grandparents, Raymond and Alma Melton and George and Rachel Sanders. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Kim Moore Melton of the home; one son, Caden Melton of the home; one daughter, Pasha Melton Bristow (Jason) of Saffell; his parents, Delbert and Modine Melton of Saffell; one brother, Howard Melton of Saffell; three grandchildren, Ayden, Ian and Emmett Bristow of Saffell; an uncle Elbert Melton (Lauraetta) of Calamine; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, January 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro Roger Randolph and Bro. Dennis Gay officiating. Burial will follow in the Milligan Campground Cemetery located near Strawberry. Visitation will be Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jamie Nunnally, Mark Counts, Michael Mobley, Shannon Milligan, Roger Tate, and Jason Bristow. Honorary pallbearers are Darrell Smith, Elbert Melton, Gary Mitchell, Jim Baxter, Mack King, Mike Wheelis, Ronald Ring, Van D. Sawyer, Harry Waldrup, Kevin Moore, Kendall Moore, and Garrett Haley.
