Glenda J. Rose, 66 of Batesville went to be with her heavenly father, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at her home. She was born, April 28, 1951 at Batesville, Arkansas to Edwin and Norma Jean (Wisdom) Williams. She was retired from White Rodgers in Batesville and was also an LPN having worked at the White River Medical Center and the Independence County Jail. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Batesville. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband Billy Rose; one daughter, Christi Irwin of Little Rock; one sister, Phyllis Garth (Doug) of Batesville; three grandsons, Blake Rose of England, Zachary Montgomery of Batesville and Aspen Irwin of England; two great grandchildren, Lilly Kay Rose of Batesville and Hayden Grace Rose of England; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Batesville with Bro. Ben Ryan and Bro. Bobby Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Weaver’s Chapel Cemetery at Batesville. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Blake Rose, Zach Montgomery, Aspen Irwin, Billy Brown, John Reynolds and Billy Garth. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Crafton, John Clemens and Dr. Muhammad Khan.
