James Daniel Lampley

James Daniel Lampley, 81 of Sidney (formerly of Memphis, Tennessee) died Saturday, January 27, 2018. He was born March 11, 1936 at Memphis, Tennessee. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, a retired car salesman and a Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Daniel Glen Lampley; daughters, Tina Sparks and Rita Kay Lampley; brothers, Jack Lampley and Bob Lampley and sister, Mary Ellen Lampley. Survivors include grandsons, George Wesley Scrivner of Sidney and Gregory Sparks of Memphis, Tennessee; stepson, Kevin McMullin of Little Rock; stepdaughters, Linda McCommon of Mississippi and Sherry Stalcup of Little Rock; numerous great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
