Laverne "Dude" Rose

Laverne “Dude” Rose, 94 of Cave City died Friday, February 23, 2018. She was born August 31, 1923 at Walnut Grove, Arkansas to Albert and Abby Cason Brogdon. She was retired from International Shoe Factory in Batesville and a member of the Mount View Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Rodney Lewis; son, Ronnie Dean Lewis; daughter, Connie Jean Lewis Mobley; brother, Doyne Brogdon and sister, Willene James. Survivors include grandson, James Brandon Mobley (Angie) of White Hall; brother, Herbert Brogdon of Glenwood; 4 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ball Cemetery near Cave City with Bro. Vance Penn officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
