Betty Archer

Betty Archer age 77 of Mountain Home died Monday, February 26, 2018. She was born June 30, 1940 in Florence Precinct, California to Ezra Edward and Norma Geraldine Hoffner Pickrell. She was a retired truck driver and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by a stepson, George Edward Archer; brothers, Jess Pickrell, Bobby Pickrell, Frank Pickrell and Edward Joe Pickrell; sisters, Aldeen Collette, Geneva Sulanke and Paulette Sutton and grandson, Austin James Archer. Survivors include her husband of 60 plus years, Sam Archer; sons, James Archer of Michigan, Ezra Archer (Jeanna) of Mountain Home and Kirby Archer of Pennsylvania; daughter, Samantha Stults (Ron) of Tennessee; sisters, Joyce LaFontaine (Reggie) of Vilonia and Linda Klink (Rick) of Massachusetts; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Dry Creek Cemetery at Lynn with Bro. Deshawn Pankey officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Sam Cole, Tim Massey, David Stults, Jason Stults, Steven Archer and Randy Pickrell.
