Laddie Sharp, 86 of Evening Shade died Saturday, March 31, 2018. He was born December 27, 1931 at Evening Shade, Arkansas to Spellman and Maudie Ovella (Edwards) Sharp. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and retired from North Arkansas Electric Cooperative as District Manager. He was a member of the Bear Creek Methodist Church and attended regularly at Evening Shade United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alla Jean (Berry) Sharp; two sons, Arthur David Sharp and Larry Sharp; one daughter, Veronica Jean Sharp; three brothers, Lloyd Sharp, Dale Sharp and Roy Neil Sharp and one sister, Joyce Sharp Fudge. Survivors include one granddaughter, Rebecca Sharp and one grandson, John Sharp both of Batesville; three brothers, Dwight Sharp, and William Sharp both of Evening Shade and Donald Sharp of Ash Flat; two sisters, Frances Sharp Lane of Park Hills, Missouri and Marilyn Sharp Batterton of Franklin; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Rev. Larry Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Bear Creek Cemetery at Evening Shade. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Dowl Thomas, Bill Qualls, Kenneth Seat, Les Lambert, Danny Cruse and Charles Cooper. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Morgan, Gordon Hale, Dwight Sharp, William Sharp and Donald Sharp.
