Alma Hill, 96 of Batesville died Sunday, April 8, 2018. She was born August 21, 1921 at Charlotte, Arkansas to John Henry and Maude Josephine (Hendrix) Stoner. She was a homemaker, factory worker and Certified Nurse’s Assistant. She was a member of the Harrison Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Gatewood Blevins and William Clifton Hill; brothers, Walter Stoner, C.C. Stoner, Boyd Stoner, Story Stoner, Henry Stoner, Van Doak Stoner and Harvey Stoner; sisters, Bessie Moore, Millie Baker, Myrtle Younger and Opal Stoner and son-in-law, Gary Moffitt. Survivors include son, Bill Hill (Faellen) of Batesville; daughters, Alma Shaw (Collie) of Mount Pleasant and Marsha Moffitt of Desha; grandchildren, Collie B. Shaw (Vicky), Nina Roofe (Dennis), Rodney Moffitt, Edward Shaw (Karen), Richard Moffitt and Ryan Hill (Jamie); great grandchildren, Mason Shaw, Madison Shaw, Chris Roofe, Kayla Shaw, Collin Shaw, Callie Moffitt, Kendra Moffitt and Cassie Moffitt; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Harrison Street Church of Christ in Batesville with Tom German officiating. Interment in the Campground Cemetery in Bethesda at a later date. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service. Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons.
