Audrey Cassandra Shelton

Audrey Cassandra “Cassie” Shelton, 59, of Collinsville, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 in O’Fallon, Illinois.  She was born on November 21, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri to Gene and Valeria Smithee.  She was a school monitor and was self-employed.  She enjoyed bicycling, her scooter, loved her trans-am and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother and her grandparents.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Danny Shelton of the home; her father, Gene Smithee; two daughters, Mindy Whitworth of Addieville, Illinois and Bonnie Onstott of Caseyville, Illinois; a brother, Harold Smithee (Lucia) of Brighton, Illinois; four grandchildren, Sydney Smith, Brianna Rodriguez, Kadence Smith and Kingston Onstott as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 10:00AM at the Lee’s Chapel Cemetery located in Sandtown with Trent Bradley and Brett Morris officiating.

Visitation will begin at 9:00AM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Whitworth, Roger Brown, Brad Onstott, Luke Stroud, Gary Davis and Jeff Morris
