Bertha Mae Richardson

Bertha Mae Richardson, 93, of Batesville died Tuesday, January 1, 2019. She was born May 2, 1925 at Tuckerman, Arkansas to Cordie and Beatrice Nash Dunehew. She worked 18 years for ConAgra Frozen Foods in Batesville, worked several years as a cook at Batesville High School, and was a member of the Jamestown Missionary Baptist Church.


She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thurman Richardson.


Survivors include one brother, Bob Dunehew of Cape Fair, Missouri; two nephews, Jason Dunehew and Bobby Dunehew; one niece, Lindsey Gouch; one great-niece; two great-nephews; two great-great nieces; one great-great nephew; and a host of other relatives and friends.


Funeral services will be Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Chris Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville.


Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.


Pallbearers will be Jason Dunehew, Bobby Dunehew, Samuel Dunehew, Michael Dunehew, Arron Gouch and Ray Yung.
