Betty Jean Byrd Gann

Betty Jean Byrd Gann, 78 of Poughkeepsie died Friday, August 23, 2019. She was born June 24, 1941 in Sidney, Arkansas to Robert Lee and Lizzie Maxine Edgar Byrd.  She married Samuel Ray Gann on March 10, 1959.  She was retired from White Rodgers in Batesville and a member of the Bettis Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and a brother, Willard Byrd.

Survivors include daughters, Rebecca Berglund (Don) of Cabot and Elaine Nix (Bobby) of Poughkeepsie; brothers, Mike Byrd (Bonnie) of Cave City and Harvey Byrd of Sidney; sisters, Betsy Davis (Raymond) of Sulphur Rock, Sharon Morgan and Billie Lambert both of Muskogee, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Karla Enderle (Ken) of Fayetteville, Casey Howell (Tiffany) of Cabot, Brandi Cooksey (David) of Poughkeepsie; Stephanie Bray (Ryan) of Sidney, and Morgan Burcham (Darrell) of Poughkeepsie; great grandchildren, Presley Payne, Brayson Naslund, Reece Bray, Kiley Bray, Levi Howell, Giovani Hernandez, Bryleigh Burcham, Trace Burcham, Zander Burcham, John-Luke Burcham and Dani-Jo Burcham; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bettis Church of Christ at Center with C.C. Baird officiating. Burial will follow in the Buchanan Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Goings, Darrell Burcham, Chris Morgan, Charlie Johnson, Glen Nix and Casey Howell.

Honorary pallbearers are Ryan Bray, David Cooksey and Ken Enderle.
