Betty Sue Massey, age 75 of Cave City passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 in Batesville. She was born November 12, 1946 in Batesville, Arkansas to Orville and Thelma Burge Johnson. She was retired from Lacroix Optics and was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Cave City. Betty enjoyed gardening, flowers, spending time her grandchildren and great grandchildren and getting together with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son; Timothy Dwain Foreman; and two brothers; Charles Johnson and Dean Johnson.
Survivors include her husband Paul Massey of the home; two sons; Greg Foreman (Becky) of Ash Flat and Todd Foreman (Tammy) of Cave City; one sister; Billie Jean Pinkston of Cave City; five grandchildren; Alysha Bradley (Matt) of Cave City, Seth Foreman (Tosha) of Cave City, Kali Dunegan (Jace) of Batesville, Kassie Meharg (Taylor) of Batesville and Payton Oliver of Ash Flat; eight great grandchildren; Landri Bradley, Tripp Bradley, Lawsyn Foreman, Brady Foreman, Jaxon Dunegan, Kaden Dunegan, Kam Meharg and Kori Meharg; her best friend; Derlene Rogers; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard officiating. Burial will follow in the Maxville Cemetery in Cave City.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
Pallbearers are Seth Foreman, Matt Bradley, Jace Dunegan, Taylor Meharg and Payton Oliver.
