Betty Jean Riley

Betty Jean Riley, 89, of Evening Shade passed away April 21, 2025 at Cave City. She was born May 6, 1935 at Centralia, MO to Ervin and Goldie Shelledy. She was in the Dietary Department at White River Medical Center and a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Evening Shade. Betty LOVED her goats, hummingbirds, flowers, and dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, George “Hedge” Trumble and Frank L. Riley; brothers, Frances Edward Satterwait; sisters, Katheryn Wyss, Billie June Hall, and Norma Arlene Jester; nephew, Mark Satterwait; niece, Debra Wyss.

Survivors include nephew Dan Satterwait of Joliet, IL; great nephew, Jason Grift; nieces, Jennifer Jester of Orlando, FL, Jean Jester of Digby, Novia Scotia, and Beverly Wyss of FL; her Main Street Church of Christ family, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
