Billy Ray Freeze, 92, of Locust Grove died Friday, September 21, 2018. He was born September 13, 1926 at Pawnee, Texas to Junius and Irene Franklin Freeze. He was a retired floor covering installer and a U.S. Army WWII Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Dixie May Freeze and Viola Lack Freeze; five brothers, Emmett, Bennie, Kenneth, Thurlow, and Lawrence Freeze; one sister, Avis Gray; and a stepson Don Lack.
Survivors include one son, William Scott Freeze (Kimberley Ann) of Bryant; stepdaughter, Claudia Hite of Springfield, Missouri; stepson, Danny Lack of Memphis, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Joel Freeze and Sean Freeze both of Benton, Dakota Turner of Bryant, Haven and Morgan Turner both of Bauxite; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Alderbrook Cemetery in Desha. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Honorary Pallbearers are Joel Freeze, Sean Freeze, and Dakota Turner.
