Bonnie Marie West Candler

Bonnie Marie West Candler, 82 of Batesville passed away, Monday, September 27, 2021.  She was born February 24, 1939 in Batesville, Arkansas to Roy Lee and Wildie F. Spencer West.  She was a homemaker and attended East Side Pentecostal Church in Batesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Donnie, Burnell, Rosco and Kenny West; four sisters, Ruby Majors, Nellie Finister, Frances Hunt and Sylvia Barnett; one grandson, Nathaniel Barnett and three great grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Ancil Candler of the home; four sons, Toby Candler (Hope), Lee Candler, Sanford Candler (Marietta) and Mark Candler all of Batesville; four daughters, Teresa Barnett (William), Amber Goodman (David) and Alisa Hatfield all of Batesville and Sheba Cunningham (Troy) of North Carolina; one sister, Norma Jean Tate of Batesville; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Friday, October 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Batesville with Bro. Dan Turner and Bro. Jack McCarroll officiating.  Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Billy Barnett, Blake Canard, Shane Goodman, Josiah Cunningham, Allan Candler and Mark Johnson.
