Carmelita June Manke, 68, of Batesville passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 in Batesville. She was born December 2, 1954 in Peoria, Illinois to Carlton James Lusk and Millcent June Barnes. She was a retired manager in the oil and jewelry industry and was of the Baptist faith.
She enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, going to garage sales, laying in the sun and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of over 25 years, John Manke of the home; a son, Justin Michael of Batesville; two step-sons, Jordan Manke and John Manke, Jr. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Joey Michael, Taylor Manke, Landon Manke, John Manke III as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
