Chad Heath Scheffler

Chad Heath Scheffler, 48, of Evening Shade passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 in Evening Shade. He was born January 2, 1976 in Paragould, Arkansas to Mack Scheffler and Karen (Woods) Harmon. He was employed by Intimidator Mowers for over 6 years and was of the Baptist faith.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and trimming trees.

He is preceded in death by his father, Mack Scheffler; his paternal grandparents, Carl and Viola Scheffler; and his maternal grandfather, Doyne Woods.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Birmingham Scheffler of the home, his mother, Karen Harmon (Raymond) of Evening Shade, a step-son, Levi Miller of Batesville; one daughter, Jade Ralph of Evening Shade; two stepdaughters, Amber Adams (Grady) of Cave City and Alyssa Gann (Derrick) of Cave City; three brothers, Carl Hollowell of Corning, Arkansas, Jaxon Cook and Rome Harmon both of Evening Shade; six sisters, Kasey Dickerson (Travis) of Evening Shade, Cindy Harmon of Evening Shade, Rhonda Harmon and Erica Kemp both of Patterson, Missouri, Kim Grimes of Fagus, Missouri, and Katie Hampton of Corning, Arkansas; his maternal grandmother, Doris Cook; six grandchildren, Jaxon Gann, Evie Adams, T.K. Gann, Warner Adams, Ensley Gann, and Molly Miller as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City Chapel with Bro. Fred Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the Bear Creek Cemetery located in Evening Shade.

Visitation will begin Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Kohnner Harmon, Dennis Rome, Weston Dickerson, Jeremy Norris, John Shands, and Damien Hoskins.

Honorary pallbearers are Roger Harris, Travis Dickerson, Josh Shands, Carl Hollowell, Rome Harmon, Bradley Cook, and Jim Wright.
