Clara Lillian Phelps

Clara Lillian Phelps, 89, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023 in Batesville at Woodlawn Heights Nursing Home. She was born May 24, 1934 in Batesville to John and Thelma Huff. She was a housewife and of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed traveling, crafts and holidays.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 23 years, Jerry Phelps, one brother, Vick Wheeler; and one sister, Laverne Huff.

She is survived by her son, Lewis Swaim (Judy); one grandchild, Ben Swaim (Stephanie); two great grandchildren, Noah Swaim and Ryleigh Swaim; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be private at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville.
