Cora Staggs, 83 of Cave City died Saturday, April 14, 2018 at her home. She was born July 19, 1934 at Marion, Indiana to Herman and Dessie Bollhoefer. She was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and a member of Maxville Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Eldon Boles and Russell Staggs; two sons, Bobby Boles and Carl Boles; two brothers, Herman “Juke” Bollhoefer and Harold Bollhoefer and four sisters, Mary Lines, Estle Young, Dorothy Chance and Donna Carlson. Survivors include two sons, Don Staggs (Tonya) and Charles Boles both of Cave City; one brother, Dean Bollhoefer of Van Buren, Indiana; two sisters, Ruth Lawing and Betty Edwards both of Marion, Indiana; three grandchildren, Tamera Shreve (Eric) of Elm Springs, William Boles and Sadie Staggs both of Cave City; three great grandchildren, Rylan Shreve and Remy Shreve of Elm Springs and Alexis Boles of Cherokee Village; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Walker and Bro. Jay Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Maxville Cemetery at Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Tony Carter, Donnie Presser, Chris Chance, Josh Chance, Forest Chance, and Josh Moye.
