Daniel Ray Hilliard

  Daniel (Dan) Ray Hilliard, 55, of Magness, Arkansas, (formerly of Evening Shade) passed away Friday, April 13th, 2018.  He was an OTR truck driver, a U.S. Navy Veteran, and a loving father, papa, son, brother, and friend. He was born August 23rd, 1962 at the China Lake Naval Base in Ridgecrest, California to Paul John and Pamela E. (Reynolds) Hilliard.  When not hard at work, Dan enjoyed projects around the house, camping, fishing, classic rock music, and spending time with his family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Paul John Hilliard, his stepfather and mother, Earl and Pamela Copeland, and his grandparents Jake and Betty Davis. Survivors include three daughters Jasmine Rounds (Hank) of Magness, Arkansas, Megan Harral of El Sobrante, California, and Alexis Hilliard of Sage, Arkansas; one sister Terri Lee Duran (Gerry) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; three grandsons Aiden, Austin, and Ryker Rounds; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 19th, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville, Arkansas with Mac Brokaw officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the Funeral Home.
