David Clyde Lankford

August 3, 1948 — February 8, 2020

David Clyde Lankford, 71 of Evening Shade died Saturday, February 8, 2020. He was born August 3, 1948 in Zion, Arkansas to John Clyde and Nobie Irene Woods Lankford.  He was a retired real estate agent and of the Baptist faith. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include two sons, Calvin Lankford (Linda) of Hot Springs and Ramsey Robison (Lindsey) of Hot Springs Village; one sister Ann Smart (Harold) of Evening Shade; three grandchildren, Hayes Robison, Colin Lankford and Gavin Lankford; two nephews, Wayne Smart (Angela) of Jonesboro and J.D. Smart (Kristen) of Cave City; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro Steven Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Roberts Cemetery near Franklin.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be John Ables, Mike Sharp, Billy Jack Lankford, Henry Lankford, Frankie Sharp and Stanley Taylor.

Honorary pallbearers are Glennis Sharp, Bud Vance, William Sharp, Don Green, Gene Runsick and the Ash Flat Community Center Pitch Players.
