Doris Reves

Doris Horn Reves, of Batesville, passed away on August 1, 2023. She was born in Cave City on September 30, 1928, to Ross Horn and Tommie Ford Horn Smith, whopredecease her. Doris was also predeceased by husband, Calvin Reves, brotherJohn B. Horn, sister-in-law Barbara Horn, and brother-in-law, Joe Thomas. 

Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She spent all her working years at the International Shoe Company. Following retirement, Doris loved travel with her West Baptist Church friends, reading, sewing, crafts, and especially watching her favorite PBS television shows. Survivors include her daughter, Tina Reves Patterson (Kenny) of Camden; son, Eddie Reves (Julie) of Sherwood; two grandsons, Mark Patterson and Matthew Patterson (Miranda) and their families, two sisters, Pat Thomas and Mary Moore (Farrell) and their families.

The family would like to thank all the White River Health, Woodlawn Heights, and Caring Hands Hospice providers, with special thanks to Doris’ friend and caregiver, Lynnsey Thatch.

A graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville with Bob Dailey officiating.
