Dorothy Shaw

Dorothy Shaw, 86, of Strawberry passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 at White River Health in Batesville. She was born October 28, 1936 in Oneonta, NY to Leon and Rose Lambert. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and a member of the Rings Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Dorothy enjoyed traveling the states and other countries, doing puzzles, playing the organ and reading westerns.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bruce Shaw; brothers, Leon Lambert and Fred Lambert; and sisters, Lorraine, Ernestine, Lillian, Theresa and Roseanne.

Survivors include her sons, Leonard (Yota) Shaw of Strawberry, Leon Castone of Pine Bluff and Mike Castone of Trumann; daughters, Donna Bergen (Walter) of Poughkeepsie, Marge Roach (Jeff) of Lynn and Rebecca Colvin (Chris) of Rector; two sisters, Marie and Priscilla; eight grandchildren, Diana, Denise, Desiree, Joshua, Jack, Sarah, Trisha and Jesse; eight great grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date at the Rings Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
