Dorris D. Spence

Dorris D. Spence, 78 of Mount Pleasant died Tuesday, September 4, 2018. She was born October 22, 1939 at Biggs, Oklahoma to William and Katherine Bullington. She was a homemaker and a member of the Guion Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Alfred Bullington, Bobby Bullington, Johnny Bullington and Jerry Bullington and sisters, Gladys Chevallier and Betty Bullington.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Robert Spence of the home; son, Shane Spence (Michelle) of Mount Pleasant; daughters, Lisa Spence Carlon (Paul) of Benton and Katrina Spence Curry of Mount Pleasant; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Larry Sellers officiating. Burial will follow in the Reeves Cemetery located near Guion.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Laxton, Justin Gillihan, Dustin Gillihan, Scott Prah, Jason Manning and Dannon Busby.
Honorary pallbearers are Lonzo Moser, J.L. Manning and Casey Hightower.
