Dortha Ferguson,90, of Pleasant Plains passed away April 7, 2025 at Batesville. She was born March 22, 1935 in Rosie to Elbert and Nettie Pearl (Green) Branscum. She was a factory worker and a member of the First Church of Batesville. Dortha enjoyed making crafts, sewing, gardening, raising her kids and grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Ferguson; four brothers, Edward Branscum, Clarence Branscum, Richard Branscum, and Billy Branscum; one sister, Irene Lucy; one great grandchild, Brianna Dawn Brister.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Ferguson, Teresia McGhee, and Donna Holder; five grandchildren, Brandy Huckabee (Bryson), Bridgett Huckabee (Spencer), Britney Hoofman, Alex Holder, and Kim Holder; seven great grandchildren, Austin Mathis, Bryce Hoofman, Aiden Huckabee, Emily Brister, Destiny Brister, Joseph Strother, and Dale Strother; two great great grandchildren, Adalyn (Rosie) Marsh and Lynlee (WeWe) Hoofman along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 12, 2025, 2:00 P.M. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Chapel with Rev. Johnathan Abbott officiating. Burial will follow in the Egner Cemetery located in Salado.

Visitation will begin Friday, April 11, 2025 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Austin Mathis, Bryce Hoofman, Bryson Huckabee, Spencer Huckabee, Jeremy Cox, and Ronnie Brister, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers are Tyler Huckabee and Joseph Strother.
