Dustin Joe Westmoreland

Dustin Joe Westmoreland, 48, of Cave City passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024 in Benton. He was born May 7, 1976 in Batesville and raised by Lynn and Cynthia (Marlin) Westmoreland. He was of the Southern Baptist Faith, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, mowing the yard and growing a garden. Dustin was a great cook, especially with the grill. He loved watching wrestling with his son. He also enjoyed NASCAR and watching the Razorbacks.

He was preceded in death by his pawpaw, Mordecai Marlin, and grandparents Bill and Lillian Westmoreland.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Melanie Westmoreland of the home; one son, Alek Westmoreland of Cave City; one daughter, Eliza Scheffler (Stevie) of Cave City; one brother, Seth Westmoreland of Batesville; his grandmother, Joy Marlin; one granddaughter, Delilah Scheffler who is on her way; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 23, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Trent Bradley officiating.

Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be Monday, September 23, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
