Bro. Earl Stoner, 77, of Batesville died Tuesday, July 9, 2019. He was born September 6, 1941 at Malden, Missouri to Jess and Lula Bell Mitchell Stoner. He was a Missionary Baptist minister having pastored many churches in Oklahoma and Arkansas. He was a member of the Maple Springs Missionary Baptist Church where he currently served as Associate Pastor.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers and 6 sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Kathryn Satterfield Stoner of the home; two sons, Tim Stoner (Ronda) of Newport, and Marcus Stoner (Nancy) of Batesville; one daughter, Tana Mills (Allen) of Conway; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Maple Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Curt Howard and Bro. Ricky Layton officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Springs Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Visitation will be Friday, July 12, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the church.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Hampton, Caroll Huskey, Jason Barber, Jim Vanoven, Justin Saffell, David Anderson, Dennis Lowry, Ronnie Anderson, and Matt Swaim.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ralph Emery, Nick Watts, Matt Brock, David Fields, Jerry Hagar, Andy Pace, Jody Davis, James Edwards, Ryan Peavy, Shannon Fennell, and Jamie Barber.
