Edie J Mobbs

Edie J. Mobbs, 50, of Evening Shade, Arkansas passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born November 19, 1972 in Rochelle, Illinois to Ronald and Judy Bee. She was a custodian for many years and a member of the First Baptist Church in Evening Shade, Arkansas. She was also on the Volunteer Fire Department of Evening Shade for nine years. Edie enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing. She was a painter, loved to read and play video games. Her biggest passion in life was her two girls, Sarah and Naomi; but she loved and welcomed many kids into her heart and life. She never turned anyone away who needed help or a shoulder to lean on. She loved many and many loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; and her uncle, David Weeks.

She is survived by her life partner of 21 years, Rhonda Tillery of the home; her daughters, Sarah Mobbs and Naomi Mobbs; her sister, Veronica Kisselburg; her aunt, Darlene Avey; one nephew, Dalton (Deirdre) Kisselburg; one niece, Rachel (Brandon) Mosley; as well as great nieces and great nephews; and many friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
