Ernest Harold Lance

Ernest Harold Lance, 87, of Saffell passed away February 5, 2025 in Saffell. He was born January 26, 1938 in Saffell to Ernie and Verna Lance. He was a cattle farmer, a member of the Arkansas Cattleman’s Association, and a member of Saffell Fire Department. He enjoyed farming, being outside working, mowing the yard, playing with the grandkids, picking pecans, enjoyed driving the school bus, and being Chief of Saffell Fire Department.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Evelyn Kennedy Lance.

Survivors include one son, Kerry Lance; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Sunday, February 9, 2025, 1:00 P.M. at Union Cemetery in Saffell with Bro. Remil Layton officiating.

Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will begin Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 5-7 P.M. at the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Eric Bryd, Trevor Langston, James Blevins, Cameron Cathey, Damion Boode, and Rob Lance.
