Ernestine Slade

Ernestine Slade, 89 of Evening Shade died Tuesday, October 1, 2019. She was born December 17, 1929 in Ash Flat, Arkansas to Henry Hugh and Susie Elmer (Haley) Williams.  She was a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church at Zion.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don Slade; 6 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Slade (Judy) of Sidney and Dennie Slade of Evening Shade; one sister, Betty Weaver of Cave City; 3 grandchildren, Melissa Fuller (Jeremy) and Joseph Don Slade (Bioanca) both of Evening Shade and Callie Slade of Florida; 5 great grandchildren, Eli Slade, Ivy Jo Slade, Mark Ford, Jonathan Fuller and Samantha Fuller; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church at Zion with Bro. Boyce Gale Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch. Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Stevie Williams, Joseph Slade, Dennie Slade, Dowl Thomas, Terry Williams and Ronald Weaver.
