Eulon Moody, 87, of Greers Ferry died Monday, December 24, 2018. He was born May 7, 1931 at Shiloh, Arkansas to Roy Herman and Hattie Martha Bell Moody. He was a retired factory worker and farmer, a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Martha Faye Moody Roberts; three brothers, Emuel Moody, Ethan Moody, and Dan Moody; and two sisters, Libbie Cothren and Texelda Lockard.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Viola Keller Moody of the home; two sons, Herman Lee Moody of Warsaw, Kentucky and Kelvin Dale Moody of Grubbs; seven grandchildren, Jason Moody, Sara Moody, Brandy Love, Angela Lewis, Salina Moody, Cassandra Proctor, and Colton Moody; sixteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Leo Murphree officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Crossroads Cemetery at Greers Ferry.
Visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brad Moody, Michael Moody, Aaron Moody, Bubby Manuel, Phillip Standridge and Dloyd Sparks.
Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Proctor and Daniel Moore.
