Faye Branscum

Faye Branscum, 73, of Sulphur Rock passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Batesville. She was born May 5, 1951 at Tampa, FL to Arthur and Bertha Elumbaugh. She was an independent distributor for Pepsi for many years, then later worked at White Rogers and was of the Baptist faith. Faye enjoyed music, dancing, flowers and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Ray, Jim, R.B., Arthur, Chester and four sisters, Mae, Joyce, Lois and Rosie Lee.

Survivors include three daughters, Sylvie Murphy (Mike) of Madison, Mississippi, Melissa McBride (Brian) of Portland, Texas, Bridget Bishop (Tracey) of Colo, Iowa; two brothers, Bill Elumbaugh of Southside and Jay Elumbaugh (Carol) of Michigan; one sister, Lavine Trowell of Georgia; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be Friday, March 14, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery on Hutchinson Mtn. at a later date.
