Freddia Mae (Koettel) Gill

Freddia Mae (Koettel) Gill, 93, of New Florance, MO, also of St. Charles, MO passed away December 2, 2024 in New Florance. She was born March 14, 1931 in Newport to Fred and Arizona Koettel. She was a cook at a high school and of the Church of Christ faith. She enjoyed family meals, bingo, puzzles, and cardinals baseball.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hershel Gill; and one daughter, Melinda McSpadden. 

Survivors include one son, Greg Gill (Martha) of Troy, MO; four grandchildren Shawn Shaffer, Cheri Baty, Jeremy Gill, and Lisa Cholley; seven great grandchildren, Camala Jackson, Gracie Jackson, Jasmine Shaffer, Makayla Shaffer, Brylee Gill, Wyatt Gill, and Millie Cholley; one sister in law, Nellie Gill.

Graveside services will be Friday, December 6, 2024, 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Mitch Ford officiating at the Remmel-McCall Cemetery in Remmel located near Newport.
