Gerald Palmer, 75 of Cave City died Thursday, October 25, 2018. He was born June 14, 1943 at Batesville, Arkansas to Amos and Stella Cummings Palmer. He was retired owner of Battery Warehouse in Batesville and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Conway Palmer and Carl Palmer; one sister, Glenna Hutchison and two infant siblings.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Sharon Gay Palmer of the home; two sons, Tim Palmer (Karen) of Cave City and Jason Palmer (Candace) of West Monroe, Louisiana; one daughter, Rita Landers (Alan) of Cave City; one sister, Vada Barnett of Batesville; eight grandchildren, Brookly Medley (Casey), Brittney Ward (Daniel), Dalton Palmer, Ryan Palmer, Madeline Vines (Justin), Aly Landers, Kaylee Palmer and Holly Palmer; three great grandchildren, Maddy Medley, Melody Ward and Noah Vines; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Saturday, October, 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cave City Cemetery with Jason Palmer officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be Friday, October 26, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers are his grandchildren.
