Geraldine "Geri" Hebert

Geraldine “Geri” Hebert, 64 of Evening Shade died Thursday, November 22, 2018. She was born October 8, 1954 in Lake Arthur, Louisiana to Walter Joseph and Aline Cecile Dupree Richard.  She was retired owner of Lil’ Bit Cajun in Evening Shade, former Evening Shade City Council Member, first responder for the Evening Shade Volunteer Fire Department and an American Red Cross Volunteer having been deployed to many disasters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her Godchild, Leisa Lynn Kibodeaux Phillips and her sister-in-law and best friend, Phyllis Gale Hebert.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Richard Hebert of the home; one son, Sonny Marmet (Megan Marie) of Poughkeepsie; two step daughters, Megan Marie Marmet (Sonny) of Poughkeepsie and Sara Bess Hebert (Christopher Jay) of Shreveport, Louisiana; one sister, Cheryl Kibodeaux (John Martin) of Lake Arthur, Louisiana; two brothers, Matthew Dugas (Glenda) of Eunice, Louisiana and Todd Dugas (Becky) of Lake Arthur, Louisiana; one granddaughter, Kalie Renee LeMaire of Poughkeepsie; her Godchild, Willy Kibodeaux of Lake Arthur Louisiana; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 26, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City.
