Grace Melton, 89 of Batesville, passed away October 1, 2024 at Batesville. She was born July 28, 1935 at Alapaha, Georgia, to Daniel and Rebecca Roberts. She was a key punch operator and a member of Pilgrims Rest.

She enjoyed her grandchildren, hummingbirds and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Von Melton, and one son; Anthony Melton.

Survivors include one son; Cliff Melton of Batesville, one daughter; Stacy Waugh, five grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 4, at 2:00 p.m. at Qualls Batesville Funeral Service with Michael Dale officiating..

Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Cushman.

Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Visitation will begin on Friday, October 4, at 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Pallbearers will be Nick Rayford, Lyric Rayford, Jimmy Waugh, Conor Kever, Zaylee Adkins, and Zoey Hatley.
