Gregory D. McKenzie

Gregory D. McKenzie, 66 of Cherokee Village died Tuesday, January 14, 2020. He was born March 24, 1953 in South Bend, Indiana to Myrle Eugene and Donna Mae McKenzie.  He retired as Director of Physical Plant and Security Director for Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, Colorado and was a member of First Baptist Church in Cherokee Village.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma McKenzie of the home; his mother, Donna Mae McKenzie of Sidney; one son, Joshua David McKenzie (Erica) of Cape Coral, Florida; two daughters, Michelle Tellez of Grayslake, Illinois and Jamie Schiavone of McHenry, Illinois; one brother, Jeffrey McKenzie (Leca) of Sidney; three sisters, Brenda Peck (Don) of Chatham, Illinois, Cheryl Ramsey of Lyon, Michigan and Gwen Fitzgerald (James) of Beebe; five grandchildren, Kyle Tellez, Katelyn Tellez, Kalin Tellez, Jakub Baranski and Max Schiavone; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation and Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Cherokee Village with Bro. Larry White officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
