Hershel W. Kirk

Hershel W. Kirk, 74 of Evening Shade died Saturday, July 21, 2018. He was born August 9, 1943 at Bayou Meto, Arkansas.  He was the son of Royce Cleveland Kirk and Lillian (Harris) Fair.  He was a carpenter and member of Cave City Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Dana Kay Kirk, one brother, Gary Kirk; two sisters, Joan Teasley and Peggy Begley and one grandson, Jonathan Kirk.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Sondra Kay Kirk of the home; four sons, Dave Kirk of Rochelle, Illinois, Dale Kirk of Locust Grove, Jamie Kirk of Cave City and Buck Kirk of Evening Shade; two daughters, Traci Kirk and Missi Kirk both of Cave City; two sisters, Donna Knighton of Myrtle, Mississippi and Wanda Boggs of Sandwich, Illinois; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
