Irene Hollowell

Irene Hollowell, 72, of Mount Pleasant passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at her home.  She was born June 9, 1951 in Mount Pleasant to Adam Moser and Magalene Johnson Moser.  She was a retired factory worker and of the Christian faith.

She enjoyed gardening and traveling, having been out west with her husband, Michael on various hunting trips and also enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Michael Hollowell; a son, Ronnie Hollowell and her sister, Darlene Malloy.

Survivors include her daughter, Meagan Walters of the home; four grandchildren, Makayla, Michael, Jason and Halle and one great-grandchild, Oriana.  She is also survived by 2 brothers; Tony Moser (Carla) and Lonzo Moser both of Mount Pleasant and a sister, Lorene Barnett of Mount Pleasant, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 2:30pm at the Nail Cemetery, located in the Lafferty community with Bro. Rick Engles officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Blake Johnson, Chris Johnson, Dickey Johnson and Joe Johnson

Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Tharp. Jason Vickers and Michael Vickers.
