James Gaylin Hatfield, 62 of Cave City died Friday, June 19, 2020. He was born September 4, 1957 in Batesville, Arkansas to Jimmy Rex and Martha Joy Lindsey Hatfield. He was owner/operator of Gaylin Hatfield Backhoe Company and co-owner and Vice President of Hatfield Ready Mix.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Lindsey Hatfield Howard.
Survivors include his wife, Alisa Candler Hatfield; one son, James Bryan Hatfield (Samantha) of Strawberry; one daughter, Wendy Dian Pappas (Paul) of Arlington, Texas; five brothers, Mike Hatfield (Vonda) and Bob Collins (Tabitha) both of Batesville, Clint Collins (Carla) of Mammoth Spring, Danny Collins (Trang) of Kansas and Ron Hatfield of Alaska; three sisters, Joy Jackson (Chuck) of Independence, Missouri, Pam Hatfield and Dana Hatfield both of Missouri; two grandchildren, Alma Dian Fleeman and Noah Kyan Hatfield; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Batesville with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Mike Hatfield, Bob Collins, Clint Collins, Danny Collins, Ron Carlton and Steve Reynolds.
Honorary pallbearers are Paul McDonald and Shawn Stephens.
