James “Jim” Hetrick, 69 of Calamine died Thursday, April 2, 2020. He was born September 11, 1950 in Garden City, Michigan to Thomas A. and Winifred Lorna Whitaker Hetrick. He was a retired lab technician for the White River Medical Center in Batesville and was a Christian.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters; Louise Gross, Sheri Williams, and Tonda Hetrick.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Brenda Higginbottom Hetrick; two sons, Brian Hetrick (Brandy) of Illinois and Edmund Hetrick (Danell) of Batesville; four daughters, Marcella Carter (Tim) of Michigan, Christina Rodgers (Paul) of Ohio, Wendy Reynolds (Sam) and Lorna Sullivan (John) both of Sandtown; one brother, Douglas Hetrick (Cherry) of Michigan; three sisters, Sandy Lowe of Ash Flat, Shelby Mullins, and Kelly Hetrick; nine grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside memorial services will be Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the Street Cemetery in Calamine with Bro. Troy Henley and Dr. B. Michael Higginbottom officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
