Jerry Jerome Joseph Benoit

Jerry Jerome Joseph Benoit, age 78, of Evening Shade, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024 in Evening Shade. He was born August 7, 1945 in Sulphur, Louisiana to Eddie and Ruby (LaCombe) Benoit.

He served in the United States Navy and was a safety officer for the Zachry Company.

Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and gaming.

He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.

Survivors include his wife, Rosana Benoit of the home; a son, Shayne Benoit (Amanda) of Tennessee; three daughters, Denise Benoit of Knoxville, Tennessee; Rubyana Benoit (Christian West) of Evening Shade, and Jennifer Benoit (Robbie Graddy) of Evening Shade; one sister, Jeanne Pierre of Louisiana; four grandchildren, Ashton, Ariana, Anna, and Adelyn; one great grandchild, Nova; and a host of other relatives and friends.
